Slayer- Psychopathy Red/backwards masked version 7" (American Recordings 88697507067A)
A limited edition of 5000 from Metal legends Slayer, a band with album sales reaching Gold Record status on a number of occasions (500,000 sales domestically), this means about 1 in 100 of those fans could find a copy of this limited release.
7" is STORE SEALED AND MINT (unplayed)
This was pressed for sale one day only for Independent Record Store Day on April 18th, 2009 after that they were gone. I remember being in a local shop that day and there was a small pack of Slayer fans there at opening waiting to score their singles and the small number the store got in lasted about 30 minutes and they were gone.

Slayer may be more Slayer-ish now than ever if "Psychopathy Red" is any indication. At just 2:22, it revisits the pummeling brevity of Reign in Blood and maintains the punkish edge that's always been vital to the Slayer sound. Based on the tale of Russian serial killer Andrei Chikatilo, this wholly disturbing track is paired with b-side "Untitled," a spoken addition to Chikatilo's story (presented backwards, of course). Hope you picked this up on Record Store Day, because it's history now.

"Psychopathy Red," the first new track from Slayer since 2006's Christ Illusion, will be available as a 7-inch vinyl disc beginning Saturday, April 18, 2009 as part of the third annual Record Store Day. Only 5,000 of these limited edition discs will be manufactured worldwide, and will be available exclusively at participating independent record stores - log onto recordstoreday.com for the list of participating stores.
The blood-red vinyl "Psychopathy Red" 7-inch collectors item will be packaged in a special Russian crime scene "evidence envelope," as the song was inspired by the heinous Russian serial killer Andrei Chikatilo, aka the Rostov Ripper, who confessed to brutally murdering 56 children. The song was recorded by the band - guitarists Kerry King and Jeff Hanneman, bassist/vocalist Tom Araya, and drummer Dave Lombardo - in a Los Angeles recording studio last October.
