Description
This is an original U.K. pressing copy of the debut LP by British punk group Slaughter and the Dogs, released in 1978. Hailing from the industrial city of Manchester, the group are best known for their debut 1977 single, "Cranked Up Really High," which is not included here. The record does include their next three singles ("Where Have All the Boot Boys Gone?," "Dame to Blame," "Quick Joey Small" (a cover of a '60 bubblegum pop single)), along with several original compositions and covers of the Velvet Underground's "I'm Waiting for the Man" and the New York Dolls' "Who Are the Mystery Girls?" The jacket has moderate to substantial creasing in the corners -- I've included a photo of the most serious one -- and along the spine, but is otherwise in good condition: overall VG. The top seam has come half unglued, but this does not impact the jacket's appearance. The disc, by contrast, is clean, and plays with light surface noise audible mostly between some tracks -- EX(+). The record comes with the original label inner sleeve.
I am in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
