Description
SHARON TANDY is a South African singer, who achieved some success in the UK in the 1960's as part of the blue-eyed soul and freakbeat movements. She has a fantastic voice and this 1967 recording is a great double-sider. Backed by the mighty FLEUR DE LYS, Hold On has some terrific guitar work, while Tandy's voice on Stay With Me is awesome - the best version I've heard. Furthermore, the Matrices suggest that this is a FIRST PRESS recording.
This is a record, which if it doesn't sell, I don't mind keeping in my own collection.

The vinyl has light scuffs and the odd surface scratch on both sides (I try to show a couple of the scratches in the pics), but believe me the sound is terrific! I detected no problems on Hold On and just some light crackle in the middle of Stay With Me. Both labels show residue from a small sticker on the Atlantic logo, but otherwise are clean, except for a few spindle marks. I don't have an Atlantic sleeve, so this will be supplied with a plain white one.
The light scuffs and scratches prohibit me from grading this record any higher than Very Good+, but I re-iterate that the sound quality is superb. However, my assessment is subjective and may not match that of others, therefore, if the record does not meet with expectations I will gladly accept its return (in its present condition) and make full refund.
