Description
Sealed original 1st pressing of ELTON JOHN 'Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy' Gatefold LP, 1975 MCA-2142. What a colorful cover and most collectible classic LP! It is the only pressing that I can find and therefore should include a 17x22" POSTER, LYRICS & SCRAPS BOOKLETS. Although I cannot guarantee without opening it, I am 99.9% sure this is the original 1st press with the inserts. It is quite heavy and definitely seems like something is in there, it feels very substantial and weighs about 4oz more than a similar gatefold of that era. I have added photos of the inserts you are likely to find inside.
CONDITION: SEALED
COVER: EX++ with breather holes, one pencil head sized shrink rip and a tad of corner wear where the shrink wore off very slightly.
