This wonderful record, too little known, is an exemplar of a kind of rock music I don't know a name for. Early David Byrne might be the genre, but that doesn't capture the mesmerizing guitar sound, a kind of trance halo of minimalist nervousness, coupled with cool weird mumbled lyrics, not psycho killer so much as psycho nice kid next door. You can hear Velvet Underground here but put to very different uses.
This is one of those very influential albums that didn't sell many copies but led to new bands and new sounds. I'm doing it an injustice by being a bit smitten at the moment but if you just listen to it on streaming you may have many better descriptors than I do.
As I say, it didn't really sell and so there just aren't that many copies of the original Stiff USA LP out there..

NEAR MINT is near new with some slight signs of play...an extremely clean record
VERY GOOD PLUS is collectible but might have some light sleeve marks and some light noise...still plays very well with no major issues.
I WILL USE (+) AND (-) FOR EMPHASIS ON THE BASIC GRADES...I DO NOT LIST ITEMS LESS THAN VERY GOOD PLUS UNLESS THEY ARE EXTREMELY RARE AND THEN A FULL DISCLOSURE WILL BE PROVIDED. BID WITH CONFIDENCE.
