This first pressing plays with stunning quality across both sides and as always I have play tested every track in full so as to provide a 'complete' grade.  The clarity, depth and warmth of the audio is sensational and in essence there is no interference.  There are no clicks, pops or static and only a couple of minor ticks.  For the sake of completeness there is just a touch of inner groove distortion towards the end of each side but it is so so minimal.  I have graded three tracks as Near Mint and the others as either Mint or Mint- and I repeat the clarity of sound is breathtaking!
The laminated G & L Patents Pending cover is in superb condition with very little wear and the inner sleeve just has some creasing and a few faint spots.

Visual description
The vinyl is in excellent condition overall and still has a strong glossy look for the large part.  Under a bright light there are some faint hairlines and S1 has three faint marks / blemishes in one area and S2 a faint mark towards the end of the side.  However, these are purely superficial as they have no impact on the audio at all.  The Philips labels are so clean with only a little spindle wear.
Play grading
The intro on 'It's Raining Today' plays with incredible clarity and Walker's opening vocal section is so clean with only a couple of very quiet statics.  The first brief silence is 100% silent which gives you a good idea of the clarity on offer here and it continues to play with exceptional clarity and warmth.  It truly is such an impressive version with no ticks, clicks or pops and no background static either.  It's so close to Mint but I will say Near Mint just to play it safe :-)
The intro on 'Copenhagen' is 'as new' and the opening vocal is just the same.  His voice is very much the star of the show, as it should be, and it could not play any better.  From start to finish this is Mint in every way including the fade out.
'Rosemary' plays to the same high end standard with no intrusion.  The audio is crystal clear I cannot rate it highly enough.  The strings play beautifully and Mint is again deserved.  This is seriously impressive audio!
The intro on 'Big Louise' has not even a solitary dust tick and from that point on the clarity of sound can only be described 'as new'.  Every note is as sharp and precise as the day this record was first released - I mean if a track has literally no background why shouldn't it be graded as Mint regardless of age.  A stunning version.
'We Came Through' is the first powerful number and it plays with great power and depth throughout.  There is perhaps just a hint of minor distortion on the vocal but that is me being super critical.  It could be just how the record was produced and it still plays remarkable well.  I'll say Near Mint
The intro on 'Butterfly' plays beautifully without any background and the opening vocal plays with impeccable clarity also.  This standard is kept up as it progresses with no clicks, pops etc.  A couple of momentary and barely audible static sounds but Mint- is still very much deserved.
'Two Ragged Soldiers' ends S1 with remarkable audio, I cannot fault it.  The warmth and resonance of the audio is absolutely STUNNING and it grades as Mint- at the very least.

The acoustic intro on '30th Century Man' plays to perfection and the vocal section is of the same standard.  The end musical box passage has no intrusion either.  A Mint start to the side.
'Winter Night' impresses on every level also.  The audio is crystal clear throughout, 'as new' about sums it up.  Mint
The intro on 'Two Weeks Since You've Gone' has one barely audible static and then the opening vocal plays perfectly.  Walker's voice is very much to the fore and in conjunction with the strings backing the sonic quality could not be any stronger.  The gentle notes on the piano play with sublime clarity and this contemplative track easily grades as Mint the playback is phenomenal.
The piano intro on the first cover 'Sons Of' has zero background and the opening vocal has just one minor tick which you almost miss because it is on a beat.  From then on it plays with outstanding clarity and, you guessed it, no interference.  60s vinyl has to be the best decade for vinyl!  As the volume increases the playback is flawless, the depth and warmth of the audio so impressive.  The powerful end section is STUNNING with no distortion at all.  A Mint- version.
'Funeral Tango' has no interference as such, just a minor hint of vocal distortion but I am probably shooting myself in the foot by even putting it here.  We are after all approaching the end of the side where inner groove distortion is often 'heard'.  Distortion doesn't seem quite the right word for it and I really should stop going on about it!  In my opinion it is still a superb Mint- version with no other background.
The intro on 'If You Go Away' plays beautifully and the opening vocal is equal to that with only a couple of mega quiet statics towards the end.  The next more powerful vocal has no intrusion and barely any inner groove distortion.  Thereafter it plays with genuine quality and there is no interference to be heard.  A little distortion on the top end perhaps but like I say you kind of expect it, it's still a very impressive version.  Near Mint is a fair assessment.
The laminated Gatefold & Inner Sleeve
The laminated cover is in lovely condition with only very minimal wear.  In fact the only 'real' wear is some handling wear on the opening edge but even then it isn't excessive.  The edges are unmarked and the wide spine has retained its shape perfectly but is slightly angled.  All corners are extremely clean.  The front cover is stunning with just a fade line ?  running down next to the spine and the back is just as impressive really with just one faint crease.  The inside of the gatefold is in superb order with just a little 'lifting' and creasing around the inner spine as is common and a small number of minor 'specks' along the top edges.  A superb example overall.
The original Foreign Patents Pending inner sleeve is so clean and has no side splits and just one minor 'nick' on the central aperture.  It is unmarked and has only a little creasing.

Postage and Packaging

I will only send items items worldwide via tracked shipping.  This provides 'peace of mind' in case of loss or damage.  The shipping costs are shown below and combined shipping is always offered.  Any over-payment will always be refunded.

The Royal Mail only insure up to a value of £250 so if an item sells for more it may be wise to use a courier service (e.g. Parcelforce or DPD).  An extra insurance premium will be required but I will not know the exact amount until the final sale price is known.  Because of this I will sometimes have to estimate the cost and this will be shown in the listing.  Please wait for the invoice before making payment and if you have any questions please feel free to ask.  Many thanks.

All vinyls are packaged in strong over-sized custom made mailers with plenty of extra cardboard protection.  They are placed inside separate poly-lined inners outside the cover so as to avoid seam splits in transit and then placed inside a PVC sleeve to provide even more protection.  I pride myself on my high quality packaging as my feed confirms and if any customer has any specific requirements I am more than happy to help.

The mailers I use cost £1.00 each and I will use anything between 3-5 cardboard stiffeners which cost approx £0.18 each.  There is also the cost of the poly-lined inner and PVC sleeve to consider, it all adds up!  Not forgetting that eBay take 10% of the shipping fee also!!
