This superb copy of Scott's 3rd solo album is a UK 1st pressing dating from March 1969 on the Philips label: SBL 7882

Housed in a spectacular outer laminated 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed gatefold cover.
Complete with its original poly-lined inner-sleeve.

Audio: EXCELLENT
This barely played disc disc retains all of its 'as new' factory shine with no visible blemsihes or wear in strong daylight. Close examination directly beneath halogen light reveals just a couple of harmless wispy paper hairlines & faint patternation inner-sleeve storage on the run-out on side 2 only. The sound is rich and unworn throughout. As with most Philips vinyl from this era a little vinyl background is audible on quieter passages, but there are no heavy clicks, pops or anything else to distract from the majesty of the music. Both sides of this exceptional copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Cover: EXCELLENT +
A wonderful example of this exquisite cover which has a pristine unscratched & unworn front laminate free from any 'thumbnail' or spine wrinkles. All corners are in great shape with just a few small 'pushes' to the rear opening edge only. The rear panel bears a very faint, unavoidable disc impression but is as clean & glossy as the front. There is however some laminate lifting towards the spine area due to the slightly flattened spine. Both panels inside the gatefold are unmarked and all seams are smooth and unstressed. Tough to find a better example of this gem.
