PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Rare ... long time no see, this deluxe limited edition was hard to find when first released some 30 to 35 years ago ... a 2LP SET IN DELUXE COVER ...
This show is a treat, as the group previews some songs from the upcoming second album and generally play their butts off for this audience. A killer show with energy flowing out of the speakers. A highly enjoyable document, the drums are clearly audible. A rare two-LP set that originated from a German source called Grant Musik. The concert is generally excellent; hearing Zep's explosive performances of "Heartbreaker," "Communication Breakdown," and "Dazed and Confused," one can see why the Lyceum concert excites collectors.
The British press reported this overview of the show: "Led Zeppelin stormed London’s Lyceum with a marathon two hour action packed show on Sunday. A capacity crowd cheered them to the echo of a raving rock finale in which backstage fans were seen dancing in the wings. The group were in tremendous form. Robert Plant offered screaming vocals and Jimmy Page offered screaming guitar – a combination guaranteed to send audiences wild. But there was serious music on hand as well as Zeppelin’s more wild moments. Jimmy Page played a superb acoustic guitar and John Bonham’s drum solo was exceptional, drawing bursts of applause throughout, especially for his hand drumming interlude. CONDITION: The cover: The thick colorful cover is still solid all over, but unfortunately has had moisture at some point affect the lower left corner where there is obvious light discoloration (the back cover has no discoloration in the corner) ... the major part, rest of the front and back is nice ...hard to grade as such, will call it VG+ and a lot better...without the light corner area damage would have rated M- ...has bright original colors, no writing, no split seams and otherwise very acceptable with ALL things considered...like rarity.
The vinyl: both records, all 4 sides are CLEAN, rated top M- looks and plays with excellent audio quality ... both labels are clean ...
