Quite simply one of the rarist punk/new wave compilations.It harnessed the talents of local bands from Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis,& was issued on the Adult Entertainment label(ADD1 /X/81/CUS 1231).Track listing is:NOISE ANNOYS 'Living in the World Today',THE RONG 'Treatment',THE BLAND 'River Creed',ADDO 'Deep Down Inside',THE SUBJECTS 'Paradise',BRUCE WAYNE BAND 'First Year Fear',DIRTY GIRLS 'Love or Lust',THE RONG 'Union Jack',THE BLAND 'Letters While Travelling',ADDO 'Ocean of Love',THE SUBJECTS 'Coming to Save You',BRUCE WAYNE BAND 'Nightmares',& NOISE ANNOYS 'New Heroes'.This album was recently re issued with some extra tracks,including the rare NOISE ANNOYS 45,and even those are selling like hot cakes.This album was also the subject of a BBC documentary as you would be lead to expect from the cover the last thing it was advertising was punk/new wave music.Sleeve opens out to a small section at the base that has black and white photos of i presume the bands featured.Label is a cartoon of a man in a suit holding a suitcase and umbrella with 'label designed by Jac Crawford' printed on it with 'copyright control/mcps ltd' at bottom of label.In the dead wax are etched x/81/cus1231 with gg seperately etched.Sleeve vg+++ as there are storage marks on reverse with slight folding of sleeve plus a sticker which states 1.25 which was possibly the original price.Vinyl is ex- save slight surface mark that DOES NOT effect playing.This album is highly desired so sensible bidding please as i do expect a lot of interest.
