Are you the sort of listener who talks about 'bass extension'...perfect transients...? Then you fall into a certain category of listener. And one that possibly is demanding..i.e. great copies aren't quite enough to get you interested. It basically needs to be a total ripsnorter to register.! And that my friends is what we have here...
Are these Roxy albums rare - no not particularly. But truly outstanding. Total bangers are less easy to source. And when you get a near master copy that is close to mint...you REALLY WILL HEAR THE ORIGINAL MASTER.
A genuine and very 1st press of PLEASURE. Matrix A1/B1. Stampers 1O/1M - one of the 1st copies to enter the market. And as close to the original master as you are every likely to manage to go. And if Roxy audio is important to you - well worth having a close looks this one. Roxy audio is dynamic and different. Just listen to the vocal performance of Ferry - quite a lot going just in the vocal alone. What this means is that there is a lot of dynamic range and complexity in a ROXY recording. So good copies will sound just fine. But perfect copies - they will take you to quite a different place in the audio nirvana spectrum. I can't over-rate this copy. IT IS THAT DARN GOOD. The bass extension is all there. The transients very much in evidence. It has not been butchered. This one is ticking a lot of boxes for me. Comes housed in the original gatefold.  And the original too. So 100% genuine and 100% complete. 
Vinyl (Ex+) In really nice condition and has only seen very light use. A couple of slightest marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback with . A clean player into all those fussy moments. It will pay dividends on the audio front - that I can assure you. Good clean feeder -- you can crank this baby up and it will r-r-r-rock. Diversity of instrumentation on these Roxy titles is just stunning - again don't be thinking 'that all original copies' will suffice. I can assure you a SPLENDID copy like this one - will take you to quite another strata... For audio you just couldn't beat it...Super tight drumming on the intro to 'Bogus' - with a lovely quiet background. SUPERB> For the enthusiast who needs to hear purity in the sax and the warbling of the sax and the vocal this would be the one to pull the trigger on!!
Cover (Ex) Lovely clean surfaces and looking better than many original examples. Perfectly flat surfaces. Rear looks great. Interior no issues and does not exhibit the ageing you typically find. This example is sweet!. No edge wear. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. Spine 99% intact. 
Inner (Vg+) No splits..
