1970s Music Library Italian Jazz Top Class, a super-classic by Giancarlo Barigozzi & Oscar Rocchi from the Jump Edizioni Musicali label series 'Music Scene'. Published under belgian label Eurec and Italian Jump Records with the title "ROCK IN THE AIR" and different cover artworks. Nice Jazzy sounds, amazing Lounge Smoothy Jazz and Jazz-Funk samples for this superb Barigozzi's jam, his highest production along with Woman's Colours and Urubamba. 5 tracks here have been comped on "THE OPTICAL SOUND" D.LP by Easy Tempo and also on the Easy Tempo series Vol.7 "Bikini Beat". Lovely Jazz Beats tinged of Blues and always Loungy. Brilliant!

Totally groovy album from the beginning to the end. On the first side "NIGHT CITY DRIVE" is Lounge Beat Blues tempo for a car trip overnight. "FREE SHOW" groovy Jazz dancefloor Beat: soft and R&B tinged, superb Jazz-Funk theme. "SATIN FLUTE is an infectious initimate Smooth Jazz tune with Barigozzi's Flute and O.Rocchi's amazing Jazz Piano. "AIRPORT ROCK" is the famous shot noted with title "ARCAVOLO", the groovy Jazz Beat typical of this album with nice horns session. On the other side "MOVIN' SOUL" is medium tempo Blues with Rocchi's organ solo. "ORIENTAL MESSAGE" is my fav track here with very nice backbeat drums and Barigozzi's stoned flute, amazing. "WHEEL ROCK" nice Funky Jazz in the vein of Woman's Colours.
