Description
On offer here is a beautifully RARE copy of Through the Past Darkly by the Stones on a red unboxed logo FIRST PRESSING MONO label. There were less copies of this album pressed in mono than Let it Bleed as Decca were changing their labels at the time!! The matrix no's are XARL 9067 P 1A and 9068 P 3A. The laminated original gatefold octagonal sleeve has a slight creases, some corner-wear, slight ring wear bottom back and has some missing laminate back top spine (see fourth photo), therefore VG++. It is housed in the original octagonal inner red MONO sleeve, which has slight creases and is NM. The labels have some spindle marks but are otherwise very tidy and the vinyl has a lovely lustre and some very light surface marks therefore is NM - It plays through great and the MONO sounds lovely!
