So, what is all the fuss with the Mono 1st pressings?...Well in 68-70 the Stones absolutely ruled the airwaves worldwide. The sound was total kick-ass....and you can hear it ALL right here. The mono's just 'Have-It'.... that raw quality that reveals the emotion and energy in the songs. THIS IS THE CUT YOU WANT BADLY.
An original 1969 Decca unboxed copy -1st Press and highly sought after for audio. Matrix 1A/3A - very 1st cut. Note the inverted tape number too. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original hexagonal cover. Plus red hex inner. So 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In great condition and has only seen light use. Look at those labels...particularly side 2 and i'd argue that is impressive for this vintage. Under close inspection there are a couple of slight marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback with slight deviation in a couple of brief moments. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Plays lovely and clean - not perfectly...but predominantly. You might detect a few crackles in one brief isolated spot per side [e.g. right at start of Rainbow for a couple of seconds which otherwise plays amazingly well..] It plays clean even into the quiet segments.  A couple of minor ticks observable in Ruby Tuesday - no biggy at all. For the vintage and title...super nice. You'll be able to crank this one up and really get a feel for how powerful the Stones were in their heyday. Absolutely superb - and comes highly recommended.
Cover (Ex-) Do not underestimate how hard this title is to find looking tidy. They are usually wrecked!! Some light ageing but pretty well turned out. The rear looks fab too - most are often very aged and look awful. The interior looks great with no issues.. And ...it looks tidy compared to the average copy. Spine is 70%+ intact with text still mostly legible. The cover retains excellent rigidity.
