Hello. This auction is for a rare set of vinyl records from Jack White's independent label Third Man Records. These were available exclusively for members of the Third Man Records Vault club, and being the very first release from the Vault, this release was limited to only the number of members who were subscribed to the club from the very beginning. While the exact number of those initial enrollees and packages is unknown, we do know that it is very low. As two of the first records released by the Third Man label, these two records bear the serial numbers TMR002 and TMR010.
I am the original owner. I've kept these records sealed and unplayed and I've stored them in clear mylar archival record sleeves in a dry smoke free environment since I first received them from Third Man Records. As much as I would love to keep these records in my collection, I have to let them go.
This auction includes both the limited edition 12" double vinyl LP of The White Stripes - "Icky Thump", mono mix on 180 gram vinyl with red tinted cover (TMR002), in new sealed unplayed condition with the original sticker seal on the sleeve intact, and the 7" single 45 record of The Dead Weather - "Forever My Queen" with the B side "Outside" (TMR010), which was shipped out by Third Man Records unsealed in a simple paper sleeve, and is also in brand new unplayed condition. Both the 12" and the 7" have been stored and remain encased in clear archival mylar record sleeves.
