The Rolling Stones - Through The Past Darkly (Big Hits Vol. 2)

(Decca SKL 5019 UK LP 1969)


This is a very early (1969-1970) UK Stereo LP pressing. It has a front laminated gatefold sleeve which has an octagonal shape. It has a small die-cut circular "Mono/ Stereo" cut-out on the rear sleeve. It comes with its original octagonal "blue border" company inner sleeve. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has smaller sized "boxed" Decca labels. It has P-1W/ P-2W matrix stampers.



Gatefold Sleeve: There is some light to mild rubbing wear to the corner tips. There is some light speckled markings on the front in one area. NEAR EX condition

Vinyl: There are some light to mild sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are three very small 0.5 to 1 cm hairline marks. There are some light pressing marks in a couple of areas. VG+ condition. The labels are in excellent condition & show very light spindle wear. The company inner sleeve is in VG+ condition. There is some light to mild ringwear, fading & creasing. There are no seam splits.

I have fully play tested this LP. It plays VG++ to Near Excellent overall & Excellent in some places. There is some light or very mild crackle in some quieter places. There are a couple of light clicks toward the end of Side 2.
