Stickered 1st issue album cover

Sticker becoming rarer , clearly visible and in excellent condition . No signs of any attempted removal and a fine example .

Sleeve is excellent , with no laminate lifting . No hand writing on reverse . Deep glossy, front face and a delight to view .First issue, Upton Printing Group printed , with mono/ Stereo peep hole! Really loved album sleeve with just one knock on lower left corner .No rips, nor tears and a tremendous exhibit .

Complete with mega rare ,1st issue, GLOSSY poster in MINT- condition. No rips, nor tears visible , just some very light handling impressions only. This is the ultra rare, 1st issue poster with the glossy , thicker paper manufacture variant. Superb exhibit and so hard to track down .Beautiful crisp folds and strong coloration,  confirm that this poster has hardly seen the light of day. Beautiful exhibit !

Inner sleeve

Excellent ! Red inner sleeve with LIB credits/track listing etc. in wonderful condition. Hardly any creasing , with no seam splits, rips, nor tears. UNCENSORED mono inner sleeve, with the London Bach Choir credits still displayed. Later issues had the credit blacked out as they did not want to be associated with this release.

Labels

Red open Decca label format . Very early, first issue label format and shows only a few spindle lines . Excellent/- condition with no fading of silver text . No mottling. No peeling. No rips. No tears. No graffiti of any kind. Tiniest spindle wear visible, where there is a slight lifting next to spindle hole on one side. Fine examples of this historic release.

Vinyl

Against strong daylight, the vinyl appears in beautiful condition with a staggering, mirror like sheen. Under a strong halogen and angled at 45 degrees, the vinyl is assessed as a very good/- visual as the surfaces have a few surface marks/light scratches/scuff visible.  Thick quality press, with a solid, robust appearance.

Audio

Very Good

There are a few audible scratches, with repetitive light clicks/ticks which do little to affect music presentation. There is some surface noise during the opening grooves, between tracks and during some of the quieter parts of the music. However, the quality of the tones are exceptional, delivered with no distortion and the extra loud cut delivery enables the tones to rise above any surface disturbance. There are no skips, no jumps, nor repeats. S1 very good/ex- S2 very good/-(Dips momentarily from vg to good+, during Tr1 S2,two scratches slightly deeper than the others, resulting in 2 and 5 louder clicks respectively)

Autograph

The Mick Jagger autograph is not certified, but I really believe its authenticity. It is up to you to assess for yourself, but after much debate, we do believe this autograph to be genuine.

Bold signature in red ink from Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones on the middle page of a small, vintage, autograph book. Also added in red ink Feb. 1st 1966 Pop Inn .

Provenance:

BBC Radio Show Pop Inn-Jagger and Richards were interviewed on UK radio on 1st Feb. 1966. On 3rd Feb. 1966 ,they returned to record 19th  Nervous Breakdown for Top of the Pops !!! On 4th February 1966 , 19th Nervous Breakdown released on Decca F12331,  B side As Tears Go By .

Autograph is in A1 condition and is undedicated. Was inside an autograph book with Shirley Bassey, Una Stubbs and Cliff Richard who were all from the mid 60s era. The Who/Pete Townsend/Keith Moon  were signatures , also found in this book.

Page measures 3.5 x 2.5 ins.

Make no mistake. This is an album that must be in every vinyl collection. A huge album release in the Stones repertoire .Will stand proud in any vinyl collection . The very first UK pressing, complete with the first issue UPTON printed , album cover, with the poster sticker, the uncensored ,1st issue ,red inner sleeve and first issue, GLOSSY poster. And the awesome addition of an uncertified, but genuinely believed to be an authentic Mick Jagger autograph from 1966.

A  COMPLETE example of this huge, influential masterpiece of the sixties .A 1960s signed album can fetch £2500 at Christies ! NOT to be missed !!!!!
