Description

Rolling Stones Got Live if You Want it E.P

Decca UK Acetate 1965

I have owned this item since 1987-ish when I sourced it from an American collector through his advert in Goldmine magazine. I don't remember the source but he had some 'interesting' stuff and I bought this and another which is not for sale at this time. (Stones Decca I Wanna Be Your Man acetate 1963).

Condition: Plays well with no skips. Surface noise. Hazy dusty surface consistent with all my other acetates

The labels are excellent and Side 'A' reads, 'TRACKS FOR LIVE E.P'

It differs slightly from the commercially released E.P in that there is no 'We want the Stones..' yelp at the beginning.

Bid to enjoy a not often seen piece of history.

I just realized that the headline description for this record states that it is a 1964 release...I believe this to be incorrect. I believe this to be a 1965 release. Ii made a typo when generating this ad...sorry. In the description I state 1965, which is correct (I think). I doubt this acetate would have been pressed in 1964 as it would have been like 5 months ahead of the official release...Anyway...enjoy the auction.
