Description

A heavy-set original near-master 1st pressing and comes housed in an original heavy-card gatefold cover. Matrix 3/1. These were the early high quality covers. Both the credit insert and GHS poster are NOT present.. This is the real deal and without censored audio as you find on the USA version!! Rude and lewd!
Vinyl (Ex) In superb condition and has only seen light use. Super lustre. Under close inspection there are a couple of slight marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with just a couple of slight deviations. Lovely quiet intros and inbetweens and the audio comes across with superb clarity. A really good player with little sign of background at all. Maybe just the odd static crackle here and there in the fussy "Coming Down" - which still plays better than you typically find. And boy do these tracks sound so good on a near-master copy. Amazing ability to resolve - this might well be one of the best renditions I've witnessed. Angie is epically good. Side 2 is my personal favourite. And it plays amazingly well. Just a couple of minor ticks in 'Hide your love' and 'Cold Winter'. But signal quality is superb and its a real cracker.
Cover (Ex-) Love it - why can't all covers look this cool! Lovely clean and flat/rigid front panel without marking or surface wear. The rear looks sweet too - just a touch of wear in one spot at the top. Interior is real smart. Edge wear is pretty minimal just slight one bottom edge, and the cover still retains firm openings. The spine is 80% intact but does appear to have faded in the light. Overall the cover retains great rigidity. Sweet!
Inner (Vg+) Very nice with some ageing..no splits!
