Rolling Stones Exile On Main St. COC 69100 vinyl x2 LP No Grey TM 1st postcards
Very early first UK issue, in a Shorewood-printed gatefold sleeve which opens from the inside, unipak-style, with both the printed inners and postcard set.
This version has NO grey TM symbol by the lips on the rear sleeve, bottom right.
On rear sleeve and inner sleeves: "Rolling Stones Records TM Musidor N.V. Distributed by Kinney Record Group Ltd ℗ 1972 by Shorewood Packaging Co. Ltd., ENGLAND" Inner sleeves include additional 'This stereo record..." notice.

Condition and details below:
The Sleeve - has some discolouration and rubbing here and there, shows its age a bit but still in very good condition all round. There is no grey TM by the lips logo as referred to above, so earliest press. Inside gatefold there is a little creasing but ,again, in great condition for its age.
The die cut card inners - are in great condition, no rips, clean , very nice
The labels - on all 4 sides are clean, no marks or writing, save for a scratch on side 3, overall excellent
The postcards - (rare to find any intact and complete) - there is some damage to a few (small rips/tape marks) and, normally in one long string , these have been separated into 2 sections. 1 to 6 and 7 to 10...some are precariously attached!
The vinyl - is great. Visually there are some light hairlines and marks on all 4 sides. very little impact on playback which is strong
The listening experience - is fantastic overall. There are odd clicks and some light crackle here and there, side 3 being the worst of it with background noise. It doesn't interfere much though. Really good listen overall, the powerful pieces sound brilliant.
