Ok...so pay attention here...there are lots of mono reissues of this title...like LOADS!
But there is only one original boxed 1st design from Xmas 1969 and into Q1 1970....
Pressings are heavy-set not flimsy later stock. Labels are not shiny...as you find in 80's. There is no speed mentioned...this eliminates 90% of all reissues!!! Side mentioned on right. Publishing date at foot. Format mono above spindle hole.

There are a lot less of these knocking around than you might imagine. And super clean players are rarer still.
An original Xmas 1969 1st Boxed Decca design. Matrix 6/12.  By '69 the Stones had fully formed their style/output and had moved on from the blues covers of no.1 & no.2. As a result a '69 mono original of the 1st album only sold in relatively small quantities during this period. But they sound bloody fantastic. The vinyl comes housed in an original mono cover with pinched spine. Also includes the original Decca inner sleeve from the early 70's too. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) Super condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of slight marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Plays lovely and clean. You might detect a couple of crackles in a couple of spots per side. It plays clean even into the quiet segments. 
Cover (Ex) Great front with just a couple of minor thumbnails and has avoided the usual laminate lift. The rear looks great too - most are often very aged. This example has avoided 98% of it. Spine is 95% with text fully legible. The cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg). No split. Aged.
