MONO recording and first UK Press of this mega Stones release. Beautiful gatefold presentation with original inner sleeve.

 

TXL 101  2A/ 4A matrices

 

The best example viewed for a very long time. Very difficult to locate in this condition .

 

1st press turquoise Open DECCA label format with several spindle lines visible . Excellent condition with no hand writing/nor rips nor tears.

 

Vinyl is thickly pressed and has only one ultra light surface mark visible under ordinary light. Ex/+ visual with a mirror like sheen .

 

Original inner sleeve in excellent condition . Very well cared for and looked after.

Gatefold sleeve with beautiful coloured photos enclosed and stapled into centre of sleeve. Lovely glossy front/rear faces and I have yet to see better. Make no mistake, this is a very rare find indeed. Almost impossible to locate like this . A truly excellent/+ gatefold and better than most . NO peep hole on reverse and R. Stace  printed, confirming the very first issue of this delightful gatefold.

 

Audio

Just as delightful. Each fantastic Stones track is hammered out in sensational style. Awesome delivery as the monotone perspective opens the listener to a profound depth of sound, with tones being delivered with a concise definition. Please note that there are three invisible fingernail scratches which are not visible to the naked eye on first examination. One has to feel to detect . S1 Trs1+4 which result in two ticks each. S2 Tr5 4 clicks during intro , otherwise an excellent delivery . 

 

Has to be one of the best presentations ever viewed of this monumental Stones’ classic .
