Welcome to our auction, for the rare and collectable FIRST PRESSING of THE ROLLING STONES LP BIG HITS (HIGH TIDE AND GREEN GRASS) TXL.101 1966  in Excellent + condition!!, on the UN BOXED light blue and silver DECCA Label IN MONO, THIS FIRST PRESSING of this rare and collectable LP has the Brilliant 12 X 12 colour picture Booklet stapled inside the Gatefold cover. This is a really brilliant copy of this classic First press stones album, in excellent+ Condition. The matrix numbers confirm a first pressing and are XARL-7053-2A Stamper 1G / XARL-7054-4A stamper 1D 11.

It’s so nice to find Vinyl that matches a superb cover and in this fantastic LP we have it!!!! the Vinyl is stunning, NO Scuffs NO scratches NO hairlines it really is in exceptional condition, obviously only played a couple of times in its 38 years, and one of those by me !! And it plays superbly, quiet on the run ins, quiet between tracks and nice and quiet on the run outs, Brilliant!!  a real delight. The Stones at their best..

The Light Blue First press DECCA UN BOXED labels have all the qualifications of a First Press, The tell tale upside down bracketed matrix numbers above the catalogue numbers, ffrr insignia, absolutely delightful. The labels are in fantastic shape, with only a few light hairlines, that’s it!!

The Robert Stace Gatefold front Laminated cover is in really fantastic condition to match the rest of this excellent record, with no dis-colouration no fading, the colours vivid and bright, the Booklet itself in excellent condition is still firmly stapled to the cover with no signs of wear, the only thing to note are some pin prick markings in the laminate to the back of the cover, and a few in the book, and the lightest of corner wear, absolutely great.

The grading of both sides of the vinyl visually would be a strong Excellent+, and the labels to both sides Excellent+ the gatefold cover with booklet has to be at least excellent, a rare opportunity to own this superb record in excellent condition. Don’t Miss It!!!
