THE ROLLING STONES - 'BIG HITS (HIGH TIDE AND GREEN GRASS)'
This rare & genuine German 'Book-Club' edition of this compilation album dates from 1969 on the red boxed Decca label: SFGLP 78 299
The side 1 label has a 'Klub Archiv - Teldec' stamp, suggesting it originated from the Decca/Teldec archive.
Both sides have machine stamped matrices: K ZAL-7503-V X & K ZAL-7504-VIII X
'Manufactured in Germany' is also machine stamped in each run-out.
Vinyl weight: 132g
Housed in its original semi-gloss cover, complete with original poly-lined inner-sleeve bearing a promo sticker & stamp.
This is a 100% genuine example and NOT a re-pressing/counterfeit issue.

A clean & unblemished set with no spindle trails visible around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Exceptionally clean, deep-gloss playing surfaces which are unmarked in strong daylight with only a few faint inner-sleeve storage/removal marks beneath halogen light. Tough to find a better example.
Sound Quality: MINT
This wonderful sounding archive example sounds flawless throughout with no trace of any groove/playwear and perfect warm and full stereo reproduction throughout. Both run-ins and all bands play without interference and there are no clicks, pops or any other such distractions anywhere on this gem.
Cover: EXCELLENT +
A fine example of this easily worn cover which rarely turns up in anything approaching this condition.
The front panel is clean & unblemished with just a hint of unavoidable ring/storagewear.
The only noticeable sign of wear is slight bruising to the corner tips and a 5mm nick to the rear opening edge.
There is also a tiny sticker in the upper right corner, which we have not attempted to remove.
The exposed rear panel is clean & blemish-free with no writing or missing paper.
Both seams and the unworded spine are unstressed and unsplit.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT +
Clean & flat with the 'Klub Archiv - Teldec' archive stamp on one side.
and a German 'Not For Sale - sample...' sticker on the window on the other side.
