About This Record.  This is an original USA copy of Buddy Holly's first LP entitled That'll Be the Day on the rare Black USA Decca Label.  This is not the more common rainbow Decca label.  These rarely turn up.  This one plays fine, but not a keeper copy for most folks.

Vinyl Condition.  Looks Good to Good Plus because of lots of paper marks and light scuffs; plays strong EX with no problems like skips, sticks, jumps etc. that you might worry about when you see the vinyl.  No distracting clicks or pops or problems, just light background noise in spots.  Plays killer on my old Rockport Sirius Turntable with Benz LP cartridge.  So will not play worse on your turntable. 

Cover Condition.  The cover is in nice Good Plus condition with tape top right corner and four inch seam split top right, and crease top left corner, and light tear in middle where record goes in, and name on back cover on sticker top left corner.  Slight bleeding in colors on over on right front.  Still presents well.

Inner Sleeve.  The vinyl comes housed in a new rice paper equivalent sleeve cleaned on my V.P.I. 16.5 Record Cleaning Machine.

Label Condition.  Labels are EX- with spindle marks; no tears or stickers etc.

About Me.  I have been a Record Collector for over 35 years.  With a child in college, I often sell records so I can buy more vinyl.  99% of what I sell is vinyl; read my Feedback! Common LPs are a waste of your time and mine!    I bought this many years ago during my travels and have kept in well preserved.  This comes cleaned on my VPI record cleaning machine and housed in a new rice paper equivalent sleeve, and plastic sleeve, and original plain inner sleeve.

Shipping and Payment.  PayPal only.  I ship promptly worldwide and do not overcharge for shipping . . . contact me if you paid more than the USPS postage sticker on your package and I’ll happily refund you the difference; postage is not a precise thing and I do the best I can do.  I will ship by any method you want.  But if you do not pay for protecting your purchase, the record will be shipped at your own risk.  I offer full refund on this record including shipping both ways, unless you live outside North America in which case I will refund you shipping one way unless I made a mistake which I sometimes do because I am only human..  CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS:  Please add sales tax!
