Robert Pete Williams - Free Again - Prestige / Bluesville 1026 - Rare!
Another gem in the Prestige/Bluesville series stands as this excellent Robert Pete Williams album. Williams was enormously popular during the blues revival of the 1960s and could be found at a number of large festivals of that time. A deeply personal singer and songwriter and a very skilled guitarist as well. The jacket is gorgeous with almost no shelf wear. No tears or seams splits, no ring wear. Stamped "Preview Copy" along back right and minor pen marks near a few song titles (see photos). The labels and vinyl are near perfect.
All records are sold on an AS IS basis. No returns. I am not a record dealer, so I won't attempt to grade anything I list, as collectors often use different methods of grading. However, I will take note of any imperfections that are visible. I've been a private collector for years and am now listing many rare and hard-to-find blues records.
