Description

Very Rare Original 1959 Louisiana Folklore Society Deep Groove Pressing. Vinyl is thick and well taken care of. There are marks and outlines from the paper inner sleeve that the record has been stored in for 60 years. This is common on older records due to the acid in the paper. These are all superficial and completely inaudible. I play tested this and was amazed how well in sounded. Only an occasional ticks now and then from the pressing and normal surface noise. No scratches or handling marks. Few spindle marks. I don't think this LP was played all that much which is surprising because it's very cool stuff. Sleeve has light to medium wear with some discoloration. Tiny bit of corner wear. No splits or writing. Seams are all tight with no wear. Comes with a 13 page book that has lyrics and notes. I think it may have come with the tape on the binding because I don't think someone would go through the trouble since it is stapled as well and it appears un-handled, but I'm not sure. Condition of the book is Excellent. I don't think it has ever been out of the sleeve. All around this is an very clean original first pressing.
