Description

This is a very early 2nd pressing. Released in the same month (June 1972) as the first pressings.
The first pressing has matrix No's ending 1E on both sides. The Matrix No's on this copy are:-
Side 1 Matrix No BGBS 0864 1E, Stamper No B3A Side 2 Matrix No BGBS 0865 2E, Stamper No 4AD
Original orange labels. RCA Victor on labels and sleeve not RCA International as later pressings. "A Gem Production" credit on back of sleeve and labels. No Mainman credits on sleeve or labels so this pressing predates the Mainman contract. Publishing credits are Titanic Music / Chrysalis Records Original over pasted catalogue number on front sleeve. Robert Stace printing credit on rear of sleeve.
The sleeve is in excellent condition,  No tears, splits, pen marks, stickers. No shelf wear at bottom of sleeve. Very faint ring wear visible at top of sleeve.  Sleeve has correct cut and paste RCA Victor logo. Inlay EX apart from minor creasing. Vinyl Near Mint- Exceptionaly clean, shiny and quiet, no pops,clicks scratches.No visible spindle marks visible.
Test played once and it sounds great. Probably the best example of this record I've had on offer. Will be well packed in proper cardboard mailer with new polylined inner sleeve and new poly outer sleeve.
