For your consideration with NO RESERVE, comes this 1956 R&B 33 1/3 rpm record LP by LITTLE WILLIE JOHN titled, "Fever" recorded on the KING Records label, #564 MONO, RARE Nurse cover variation. This is the flat black label with crownless KING and small letters, which validates a 1st pressing. In my opinion, this is the greatest R&B LP ever recorded, offering heartfelt powerful soul vocals, great harmonies, and can you feel the Blues coming through playing to the rhythms of your heartbeat. These deep groove King LPs can look like hell but still sound good, which is the case here. I played all the way through, and really had a spectacular listening experience. OK, enough blather about the LP! Album cover retains colorful front cover with tape top and bottom which means the seams are split, the spine seam remains solid with flaking. The back shows abundant wear, marks, and soiling; overall grades VG-.
