From my own vast private collection gathered over last 45+ years ...these mostly from 1973 - 1978 I had my own Record Store here in Northern California in the 1970's and 80's -and bringing in wonderfully vibrant and amazing Progressive Rock Imports was a top specialty and priority - I was (still am) so nuts about this music that I had 3 different evolving weekly Radio Programs dedicated to it over 20 years - and loved nothing more than turning folks on to these bands and immersing myself and my audience in these exotic sounds. Now it is finally time for me to pass them on - my hardest LPs to part with, some 8 boxes of which I shall be listing throughout this Spring. Many of the leading progenitors of the 1st progressive era, but quite a few more obscure but no less amazing artists of the period. . *Sadly I am NOT FAST at listing and can am lucky to get around 50 up at a time, but they will keep on coming (as I pause between series, to focus on top level packing and immediate shipping) so keep checking back.

VINYL is EX+
High grade, full gloss vinyl has a very few faint sleeve hairlines, viewed under hard bright light. LP plays extremely clean EX+ to NM throughout. Labels are very clean both sides with some spindle trails, one side, visible at angle to light.

COVER is VG+
Soft, fragile matte screen-printed cover has very minor shelf wear and some faint age spotting, otherwise very clean with straight edges and sharp corners all around. Seams and spine 100% intact with no wear or splits.

Delectable keyboard cosmic chamber prog from France

Top, high grade POLYGAM pressed Polydor vinyl, far superior to most French vinyl of the day. Original Custom screen-printed inner sleeve is unsplit NM.

1980 saw the piece-de-resistance from Richard Vimal with 'Aquarythmies'.  Another totally instrumental album, this time completely solo, with deep, delicious synth sounds.

While his previous LP, "MIGRATIONS" is the more rock oriented and a true gem, this one was near-perfection - and a classic of the genre; sometimes dark and brooding, at other times guietly rendered delicate fantasy vignettes. More subtle and overall subdued than Migrations, Aquarhythmies nevertheless develops tremendous power in places - particularly the stand-out epic track "Arcanes I, II, III".

Some of these pieces have an almost classical feel - in the chamber sense - nothing here could in any way be called "symphonic"). The rhythmic tracks such as 'Elixir' and 'Itinerarire' are free-flowing, the latter with layered sequenced rhythms; it's hard to believe that the sequences were all played by hand.

A great example of the more thoughtful, interior directed electronic prog that the French were often so good at.
