Description

Up for auction is a classic Blues LP: Say No To The Devil by Reverend Gary Davis.

The pressing for sale was released on Prestige Bluesville in late 1960s.

(Catalog Number: BV 1049).

Vinyl is graded at VG+. Nice Gloss. Several light surface marks but none that can be felt with the pass of a finger.

Jacket is graded at VG-. Original textured cover. Spine intact. Top seam completely split and bottom seam split at opening. Some ring wear. Heavy corner wear. Little bit of writing on rear.

Please see detailed photos to gather as much information as possible about the condition of the items for sale.

Van Gelder stamped in dead wax of the runout groove.

I will be listing approximately 100 excellent Blues LPs over the coming days. Please check all of my auctions and you may find some great music to enjoy. I have digital audio files for many of these recordings. For items that draw heavy interest I will try to upload those audio files so that you will know the exact quality of the item you are receiving before bidding. The audio files will never be altered in any way. Logistically it will be impossible to upload everything but feel free to contact me if you have a specific request to hear something.

Grades I use for used vinyl/jackets: EX, VG, G. And I use +/- for each. All grades are based on Goldmine Standards. Items in G (+/-) will only be listed if the rarity of the item outweighs the condition.

I only use M and NM for new items and I don't use +/- here. M is only if vinyl has absolutely never been played, and usually new jackets are NM because there is almost always some sort of corner ding or whatever even on sealed albums.

I ship all LPs in heavy duty LP mailers reinforced and properly padded. If an item isn't sealed I always remove inner sleeves containing the records from the outer jacket to avoid seam splitting and minimize the risk of damage during transit. I've had customers describe my packaging as "bomb proof" but the fact is, I'm a buyer too and I know the disappointment of receiving a poorly packaged LP with a jacket that was damaged in transit, so I just take a little extra time and care so that you don't have to worry.

Shipping within the US is $4. Shipping to Canada is $12. Shipping to Europe is $20. I do combine shipping. Within the US it will be $1 per each additional LP. Outside the US will be $4 for each additional LP. International orders over $50 must be sent via registered mail and will incur an additional cost for registration.

Thanks for looking. Check my feedback and bid with confidence. My primary goal is to make sure every customer is 100% satisfied. Enjoy your vinyl!!
