A US Original press on the Capitol label catalog # ST-186 and made in the US 1969
Comments:
Ray and the original Whispers split at the end of 1966. After recording a couple of solo tracks, seeking to extend his career, Brown headed overseas late in 1967 and he spent two years working in the US, which included the recording of a solo album Just Ray Brown for Capitol, produced by legendary American composer-arranger-producer David Axelrod.
Condition:
Record: VG
This record has some light marks on both sides and a light scratch on side two that causes a couple of clicks towards the end of track one. Otherwise it plays very well mostly clean with very occasional minor background noise.
Sleeve: VG+
This record cover is clean except for some minor shelf wear and a deleted hole at the top right side.
