Description
This one of the rarest VOX box sets, of performances of the Ravel piano works by Vlado Perlemuter. These are very expensive LPs in the French pressings (by Pathe).
This is the original US 3-LP box set, with the original inner sleeves and booklet. This is an original VOX BOX (U.S.A.) set of reference performances of these Ravel works by Perlemuter. I believe these were released in 1961.
VOX 3-LP Set - Maroon/ Red record labels with silver lettering. All LPs have the RVG initials in the run-out, for the mastering engineer, Rudy Van Gelder. These Mono LPs were pressed in the USA.
LPs are housed in a gold-colored outer box. Each LP comes in the original plastic-lined paper inner sleeves. Sleeves are in great shape, with a spot of age/browning here and there on the paper. Set comes with separate glossy page with liner notes on both sides.

CONDITION Details:
Box: Very Good Plus. The box is very solid, apart from the paper hinge, which has separated from the box, plus some shelf-wear to the spine bottom and corners—see pictures for details.
The LPs are in Near Mint Minus condition.The LPS have no serious marks, apart from some scuffs caused by sliding the LPs in and out of the inner record sleeves. A couple of sides have spindle marks on the labels, and there are faint spindle trails on two of the sides that do not sound. Apart from that, these records look virtually unplayed--very glossy and beautiful.
This set was part of my father's audiophile LP collection. I am selling a number of other sealed and near-mint condition Jazz, Classical, Rock, and World Music LPs. All were well-cared for and stored upright, most in protective covers, in a smoke-free, climate controlled environment.
