1st UK pressing in MONO with very rare Gold & Black Parlophone labels.

XEX 421-1N. 1 & 0 on side 1 XEX 422-1N. 1 & M on side 2
Dick James Music credits.
The stamped numbers and position testify to this being one of the very first 1500 issues.
Conservatively graded as G/G+ - obvious surface marks and the odd pop but no sticking or skipping. Audible scratch on “There’s A Place” for the first verse. Sound generally pretty good, considering.
Despite my best efforts to photograph the all-important numbers on the run-outs, I couldn’t make them visible - so you will have to trust me that they are clearly there when you tilt the LP in the light !
Machine cleaned and play-tested on a high-end system. Original inner sleeve with additional anti-static, archival quality MoFi liner.
Flipback cover graded as fair. General marking and flipback at the base is coming away. Photo credit for Angus McBean in the proper place for the very first issues i.e. starting extreme right below the letter S. Cover Printed and Made by Ernest Day & Co. - please see the photos to best assess the condition.
Packed in a heavy-weight MusicMax cardboard mailer with additional stiffener card. Free postage by Royal Mail 2nd Class in the UK or another service by arrangement.
