It gives me pleasure to make available to rare lp collectors this original 1962 SHEP & THE LIMELITES OUR ANNIVERSARY Lp. Lps like this, in this condition, are already in the hands of collectors, unwilling to part with them. And only once in a very great while, will something like this surface, giving the collector an opportunity to own something very special. This is a wonderful vocal group rarity, and a great investment in this condition. A while ago, I acquired a small collection of original lps from a gentleman in his mid 60s. He was moving to a smaller residence, and did not want to bring the records with him.In this small collection were other rarities, some in good condition, some in great condition and a handful in amazing condition, this is one of them. This is a u.s. pressing with light sky blue HULL labels #LP-1001. It is very nicely made on thick, rigid, vinyl with numbers: XTV 81639-1B, other side XTV 81640-1A, in the trail off of one side is the word HAHN. There are 12 songs they are: DADDY'S HOME/ THIS I KNOW/READY FOR YOUR LOVE/YOU'LL BE SORRY/WHAT DID DADDY DO/GEE BABY WHAT ABOUT YOU/ OUR ANNIVERSARY/WHO TOLD THE SANDMAN/THREE STEPS FROM THE ALTAR/OH WHAT A FEELING/STICK BY ME AND I'LL STICK BY YOU/I'M A HURTIN INSIDE. On the back cover they made a mistake on the third tune forgetting the letter F it reads READY OR YOUR LOVE instead of READY FOR YOUR LOVE. It is correct on the label. The lp is in the most glorious condition. With a glossy shine that will impress even the most demanding collector. NO scratches, scuffs, defects, groove wear, mold, warps, etc. Labels are MINT, NO spindle marks, wear, stains, fading, etc. Cover very nice, has only mild wear, a tiny top center seam split, lightly bent top right corner, bottom seam and spine not split, front cover photo and graphics are very nice, as well as notes on back. I know I will never find another lp this rare, in this condition. But it is time for me to pass it on to a collector searching for the rarest, in the best CONDITION: COVER VG++/ LP MINT. Please keep in mind my photos are out of focus, and colors are not quite right. My description is acurate, and everything looks much better in person.
