Description

THE JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE Axis: Bold As Love (Track 613 003) UK 1st + Insert + Signed! EX+
RAREST UK original, VERY FIRST stereo pressing of the Jimi Hendrix Experience`s second album "Axis: Bold As Love", released on Track Records (December 1967).
As with the copy of "Electric Ladyland" currently on sale, here again, I cannot stress highly enough what an incredible find we have on offer.
Here`s a very first UK stereo pressing of "Axis: Bold As Love" that includes the ULTRA-RARE original fold-out insert/lyric sleeve.
As if that weren`t enough, this specific copy of "Axis: Bold As Love" was autographed by none other than Mitch Mitchell himself!
A photo of a drumhead, also signed by Mitchell (on sale on Ebay) has been added to the photo gallery: Please compare these autographs in order to judge the signature`s authenticity.
This is a 100% guaranteed original first release copy of "Axis: Bold As Love", as defined and thusly described on Discogs, the record collector website:

The original UK Track issue [December 1967] is a gatefold. Cover image is oriented 90-degrees right to spine and is laminated, with an unlaminated inside
spread with inner 'flipback' tabs. Cover 'printed and made by Ernest J. Day & Co. Ltd. London'. It has an orange-printed 4-page insert with red text lyrics.
First UK stereo pressing. Manufactured in Great Britain by POLYDOR RECORDS LTD. LONDON.

- Very first UK pressing with laminated outer and unlaminated `flipback`-type inner gatefold.
- Light overall wear, with a few superficial scratches and/or scuffs to the laminate.
- Lightest record imprint on laminate of gatefold sleeve (on back only).
- Three small creases to the bottom edge (at rear).
- Three small creases, one larger crease to the spine (15mm; at rear).

EX RECORD that has seen a fair amount of previous play.
- Some general hairlining and light scuffing. However, absolutely no scratches or other damage to the vinyl at all.
- Play-graded as excellent (EX), with a bit of recurring superficial background crackle in between tracks, as well as in quieter passages.
- The record has a very faint recurring "pop" every now and then. However, absolutely no clicks.
- Original jet-black Track Record labels with a few spindle lines on each side.
- This copy of "Axis: Bold As Love" is fully guaranteed to be a very first UK stereo pressing, released in December 1967.
PLEASE NOTE: This copy of "Axis: Bold As Love" comes to you in very palatable audio condition. The chances of your (or my, for that matter) finding  another autographed copy that includes the lyric insert are about as remote as six actually being nine...unless turned upside down, of course.
