I am selling from my personal collection that I have been gathering for over 25 years and understand how important quality is to me so I would never sell an item I thought was in bad shape (unless I state otherwise) If you are unsure and need more pictures or have any questions

Very Hard To Come By Original Michigan Private Pressings Of
Shekinah & Damascus (Both Self Titled) LPs
The Shekinah album is rare in more than one way. Not only is it difficult to find this album but I received it from the bass player's cousin and it is signed by the bass player, Bruce Labadie!!! On the back of the cover in the top left corner, see up close picture. For you serious collectors who knows when you'll come across another signed album!
Shekinah- This is an excellent private pressing of a Folk Christian Rock LP by Shekinah from Eden Records (Allen Park, MI.). Ken Scott from his Archivist book gives the best description in his words," The stunningly beautiful spacey music of Shekinah would seem to have come from another world. Seldom has an acoustic duo resounded with such depth and mysterious beauty. Brilliant guitar throughout."
Damascus- This 9 man Harlan, Iowa group could be classified as a "horn-rock" band due all of the brass instruments. Amidst the ballads,MOR, pop and soft jazz there are some rock moments. Doug Howell guests on the synthesizer, he seems to add some spice to the song," Trust in the Lord". There are also 11 original songs plus a cover John Foley's, "If God Is For Us".

The condition of Shekinah vinyl is Good-VG with some light paper sleeve surface marks and a light scuff on the last song on side one (see up-close last photo of vinyl) There are no loud pops or any skips, but plays with static/crackle noise throughout the album. Still a very enjoyable album and it's my opinion that some of the surface niose is from production of the album. I have never had it professionally cleaned on a machine, so that might help a little if you decide. If you don't mind a little wear on your LP and to be able to get your hands on a rare album, then this one is for you. I have lowered the asking price because of the wear
The Shekinah Jacket/Cover is in VG+ condition with some age wear and a light crease in the bottom right corner
The Damascus album is still sealed, so the condition of the vinyl sealed/mint and the cover is in near mint condition with a hint of age wear. This album comes with a printed record sleeve and the cover is gate-fold jacket
All around in very nice condition!!!
