Description
Up for auction is a terrific and rare 78 by Emmitt Smith and His Georgia Crackers.This is one of about 8 Emmett Miller and His Georgia Crackers 78s I'll be listing from my collection over the next few days.Most on the Okeh label except for this one.This is on Odeon Ony Series Electric label # 41305.The Odeon Ony series label was also owned by The Okeh company but they had an idea to release some on the Odeon label near the West Coast.Not only is it a rare label but it also happens to have one terrific back up band called the Georgia Crackers which featured both Tommy and Jimmy Dorsey along with Eddie Lang and Dan Finch.The record has the songs Lovin' Sam on one side and has Big Bad Bill on the other side.The Lovin Sam Side is very nice with extremely light to light scratches along with 2 tiny scratches I can feel with fingernail.The Big Bad Bill side is also very nice with extremely light to light scratches along with 1 tiny scratch I can feel with fingernail.Has a few light scuffs.Both sides have groove wear as you can see in the picture but the record still looks Great.Comes with an original Okeh/Odeon label sleeve.Has Odeon near the right side of the sleeve Please see picture.The sleeve is in Wonderful shape for being nearly 80 years old although it has a small 1/2 inch bottom split and 40892 written small near upper left corner.Your welcome to check my other Emmett Miller 78s I have up at this time.I also combine multiple auctions to save on shipping.Also if the buyer is not 100% satiafied I have a return for refund policy on all records I sell.Buyer to pay $4.00 Media rate shipping anywhere in the U.S.Please add $1.00 if insurance is desired.
