Oct.1956 - issued in 1956Randy Weston : piano - Cecil Payne : baritone sax - Ahmed Abdul-Malik : bass - Al Dreares : drums Side 1 : Theme 'Solemn meditation' (Sam Gill) - Just a riff (Catlett) - You go to my head (Gillespie-Coots) - Once in a while Side 2 : Hold 'em Joe (traditional) - It's all right with me (Porter) - Chessman's delight (Weston) - Theme 'Solemn meditation' (Sam Gill)
Visual grading : record is VG+ to EX- full lustre has few barely visible light surface marks on both sides. Also a couple of wispy lines on side 1. There is a punched hole in the middle of label and a small stain on the right of side 2 label Playing grading : record is VG+ plays well with loud and clear sound. Has a very light background noise throughout. Anyway has no major faults and playing is enjoyable because the noise is well below the music's level Cover grading : cover is VG- has wear to corners, edges and to spine which has a small piece of paper missing on top and on bottom. Anyway titles on spine are still readable. Bottom right corner has been repaired for a short seam split (cm.2 or 1"). Also both bottom corners have a small piece of cardboard missing. Some yellowing around the edges on back more remarkable on bottom left corner. Also has a small piece of slick missing on bottom right corner FOR US BUYER ATTENTION $ 4 IS NOT THE CORRECT SHIPPING COST , I WILL SEND RECORD OUT FROM ITALY.
