Randy Weston Trio & Solo w/ Art Blakey”, White Riverside Mono Contemporary Series, RLP 12-227, VG+.
A 1957 album that combines all of the tracks from the 1955 The Randy Weston Trio album plus 3 previously unreleased solo tracks from the January 25, 1955, Hackensack N.J. trio session and a previously unreleased solo track recorded September 10, 1956 in New York
All vinyl is play graded and visually graded. Inner sleeve has been replaced with a Mobile Fidelity Sound anti static sleeve. Outer sleeve will be included to protect record and jacket during shipping.
Vinyl in very good shape. Surface marks on both sides but nothing that affects play. A little surface noise but nothing louder than the music and what is to be expected on the solo piano songs. Outer sleeve is in good shape, slight fraying on the corners. Writing on the back that was the original owner's catalog and grading system. Part of a jazz collection that has been in storage for over 40 years.
I will be posting 5-10 records from this collection every week. These records are in great shape and you are bidding on a part of jazz history. Mostly first pressings and mono versions.
