Description
Beautiful original copy of local band (I'm based in Nottingham) Radium's seminal 1981 NWOBHM stone-cold classic 3-track EP, 'Through The Smoke' (ISO 731). Only 500 copies were made of this classic of its genre and very few come up for sale with the vinyl in such excellent condition. The audio quality is superb and there is no discernible deterioration in sound. Both sides of this classic are in excellent condition, with few signs of having been played (see photos). There is only very light surface noise at the start of the first side and light noise at the start of the b-side but no scratches or jumps and both sides are graded as Excellent. The vinyl retains its original vibrant sheen. It has been test-played on a Project Mark II turntable using an Ortofon stylus and this pressing provides a very powerful and punchy audio sound,
The original orange Isotope labels and spindles are in excellent condition and show little signs of wear at all. The sleeve is graded as Very Good since there is some ring-wear and light creasing (see photos) and the generic white inner sleeve is in good condition, with some slight staining to one side.
This killer NWOBHM 7" features the classic songs 'Angel of Fear', 'Dusty Road' (recorded live) and 'Making Changes'.
An excellent opportunity to acquire this highly desirable piece of NWOBHM history.
