Description
A lovely and excellent condition example of the original EMI, 1965, UK reel to reel 3 & 3/4 ips mono tape release of "Rubber Soul" by The Beatles complete with the "Emitape" leaflet, the packing/warranty slip, and the small green and gold Parlophone sticker to the spool. Cat No TA-PMC-1267.
Clean, clearly printed white leader tape and red printed trailing tape, no pen markings or stains. Intact, unbroken and uncracked 4 inch diameter Emitape spool with Emitape circular stickers.
Pink star tax code to base of box indicating that this tape was returned to EMI for purchase tax credit as unsold by the retailer. Stock was supplied on a "sale or return" basis. (This is often mistaken for a blemish).
Original, and complete with the Emitape insert, packing slip and green/gold sticker
Played throughout both sides and tested - perfect. Emitape leaflet and packing slip like new. Rare in this excellent and complete condition.
