Ron Davies, who has passed away prematurely, will always have the lasting legacy of composing and originally recording the great Rock-Soul classic 'It Ain't Easy', which is on this rare LP from 1970. Not to be confused with Ray Davies of The Kinks, Ron was a very talented songwriter as well as Vocalist as this album proves. His songs have been recorded by so many name artists over the years it's impossible to list here. 'It Ain't Easy' itself has been done by a number of artists some of whom are David Bowie, Three Dog Night, Detroit, Long John Baldry, Dave Edmunds and more. Davies was an excellent songwriter as well as singer, and this now rare LP proves it!
