Rare 1st issue sleeve and inner
VINYL:- Original pressing with A-2U and B-3U matrix endings. Picture labels with text to top and bottom of the labels.
The vinyl is strictly VG+ to EX- condition,it is clean and shiny vinyl with some light marks and hairlines etc but no apparent heavy marks and does not appear to have been played that much. The record was played right through and the music still sounds loud and clear but in a couple of parts there were a few pops and there was some light crackle on and off but it certainly did not spoil the music. Would benefit from a good clean.
SLEEVE:- Very first issue with a wide spine. The original 1st issue sleeve does not have a barcode which was added to later versions. It was printed by 'Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd' and this is added under the Harvest and EMI record logos on the inside of the gatefold cover which also has a slightly waxy feeling finish.
The sleeve is in a reasonable VG condition. It is fully inatct and useable/presentable but there is some rubbing and wear to the cover and edges. The 'wide' spine is fully readable and mostly unworn, the majority of the edge wear is to the top of the sleeve, the inside is clean and presentable. SEE PICS
INNER SLEEVE:- The firts issue inner sleeve has rounded corner edges and a long 'thumb drop' along one edge which allows easy removal and replacement of the record. The catalogue number SHVL 815 (1) is printed on the bottom right of the inner sleeve on one side.
The inner sleeve is in VG+ condition. It is fully intact but does have some light ageing and a few light creases etc. SEE PICS
