ROLLING STONES

This is the UK 1st Press of 'Beggars Banquet' by The Rolling Stones. This press has the very first 1K/1K matrix, the dark blue unboxed Decca label, the very first laminated 'patents pending' Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold sleeve and original polylined Stereo inner sleeve.
The record is in Excellent condition. The vinyl has a superb bright gloss, with just a couple of very light marks on Side 1. On playing the sound is bold, rich and exceptionally clear. There are moments of light noise but there is no significant sound reduction at any point. It sounds superb. The Unboxed Decca label has retained its original dark blue colour. It is in superb condition, completely clean and the silver is very bright. The text is sharp and there is only the slightest spindle wear and a few spider marks.
The original laminated Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve is in Very Good condition. The cream is still clean and the gold edges are bright. There are a couple of creases and wear on the spine and slight opening edge wear. The black text is bold and the laminate still retains a superb bright shine. The inside image is very clean and unworn and the whole lightweight sleeve still feels solid.
