Released in 1968 on the red unboxed DECCA label, I am offering today this GOOD CONDITION original and hard to find first UK pressing of this classic 1968 Rolling Stones blues album which is titled "BEGGARS BANQUET", This is one of the earliest to be pressed as signified by the 1G stampers. You won't find an earlier copy. Unfortunately this is not mint or excellent but a good example. There are lots of light surface marks but I have play tested start to finish and I can state that it plays well with rich audio with no sticks or skips etc with light background noise to be heard between tracks.

The album comes complete with a Garrod & Lofthouse patents pending outer laminated gatefold sleeve which is in good condition. Whiter than most with no stickers or unwanted writing but is quite worn with laminate creases, edge wear etc and the spine has worn through. The sleeve also has a stereo catalogue number.

The album also comes with its original red inner sleeve which is in very clean condition.

I have just played this through for these listing purposes and I am pleased to say that it plays well with absolutely no sticks or skips or nasty pops etc, a good enjoyable example.

The VINYL, The Vinyl visually shows lots of light surface scratches Audibly it plays well no problems in good condition. 

The SLEEVE, The outer laminated gatefold sleeve is quite clean, There are no stickers or unwanted writing etc but shows creasing to the lamination and is worn on the edges and spine which is no longer fully legible. Overall a decent example but has a stereo cat number on the back.  

The LABELS, The original unboxed DECCA labels are very clean with no stickers or unwanted writing etc but show spindle wear.

The INNER, The first issue red company inner is clean and free from unwanted writing or splits etc.

I try to be accurate in my grading as I know what its like to buy miss graded items but won't insult you by writing song lyrics etc. If you feel I have not described this correctly I am happy to refund you providing I receive the item back in the same condition as it leaves me, But I can only refund one lot of postage,
