Description

 

We are a shop/record label located in West Wickham, Kent, dealing in most styles from the 50's, 60s, 70s and early 80s. All the records / cds listed on ebay are fully guaranteed as to the conditions described.  We use professional packing with reinforcements added , and the discs are separated from the sleeves to avoid seam splitting, in the case of E.P.'s and L.P.'s.

An amazing condition UK first issue that will not need upgrading!

As you'll see from the pics it's the very first issue from 1970, with the textured sleeve and the large spiral label. These sold badly at the time, and it wasn't until "Maggie May" that Rod fever took a grip. Full marks to Phillips/Vertigo for repressing this album in '71 to cash in. However, when it was repressed the sleeve was smooth, and the label had the smaller 'swirl' logo. 

I don't think you'll see a better condition one than this. I certainly haven't! You only have to look at the picture of the spine to appreciate how fabulous it is.
