Welcome to 'Its the vinyl countdown' music auctions. Here you will find some of the most incredible rare records and music memorabilia for your collection. We pride ourselves on auctioning only the highest grade records and items, you will not see anything listed here below EX+ condition, unles the item is extremely rare. You will not see worn covers, warped records or scratched records. We simply do not bother with them.

We list in many cases, 'Archived' & 'mint' condition items, we are able to source from private collections all over the UK. So we hope you can be put at ease that what you are bidding on is of the highest quality.

We play through most of the records, unless the item is clearly mint, or sealed..in which case we don't play them, thus maintaining their 'unplayed' status!  Obviously with some of these rare items there will be the odd 'anomoly' along the way , the odd little static pop or lead in 'sizzle' for a split second.. nothing is perfect we find! all systems differ, but we aim to describe these as accurately as possible for you.... PLEASE ENJOY THIS ITEM YOU ARE NOW LOOKING AT..

THE VINYL   EX+

As you can see, this vinyl is the EARLIEST 1971 BLACK LABEL 1//1  pressing- Stored from new this LP has seen A HANDFUL of plays only, and remains in pristine condition everywhere.

IT REALLY IS AN IMMACULATE ARCHIVED VINYL THAT PLAYS SUPERB

This pressing has retained its amazing glossy sheen and finish. There is no dulling anywhere and overall it is in incredible condition for an LP of this age. We are seing fewer and fewer copies of this LP, so rarely do we see a copy at all, let alone like this.

A HANDFUL OF spider lines around the centre hole, But no wear to the hole

There are  a few light whisp lines, and a gfw tiny light hairlines and thats it-  nothing else!  no scratches or marks that spoil the vinyl (as you know by now, we do not list scratched vinyls anyway!)

 Clearly this LP has been archived for many many years, a few little dust specs are on the vinyl when we slid it for checking..

On playing through we heard the tiniest of lead in static in the dead grooves..and the odd little static crackle in the play in a few places..the odd dust pop but all this is nothing to wory over..it was a superb listen..a professional hoover cleaner could remedy the dust out the grooves and make this play even better!

OVERALL THIS IS A CRACKING VINYL!!!

Correct  first UK issued earliest sleeve  -with the proud spine.. & POLY inner sleeve

Printed by  -   No credit..

 This is in super clean condition with no bad ring wear or white scuffing (where so many suffer)

The edges are all super clean with just the tiniest of traces of tip rub, and all colours and inks remain in outstanding condition

Just  couple of tiny corner dinks.

No powdery white ringwear - OR ring press, and all edges are super crisp.

A few tiny spider lines over the edges and spine

 The spine edge is totally unmarked with no wear or squash.

The open edge remains in sharp condition with just some very light feathering in a few spots

there is one light crease running on the top edge of spine

Just some very feint rub on the seam edge top back sleeve

We cannot add any more than this! ITS A BEAUTY!
