Description

Ultra rare 6-song EP recorded in 1972 by North Carolina teenagers Mitch Easter, Peter Holsapple, Chris Stamey and Bobby Locke. Features five songs written by Easter and one by Holsapple. Easter later became famous as the leader of Let's Active and producer of REM, Game Theory, Pylon, Pavement, Suzanne Vega, Marshall Crenshaw and others; while Holsapple and Stamey achieved interplanetary cult status in the dBs and, in Holsapple's case, Continental Drifters. This was their high school band. This EP was released locally in absurdly limited numbers in 1973, this copy presented to me in New York in the early eighties by Peter and Chris. I played it once long long ago to commit to cassette. Record will be very carefully packed and insured, in generic white cardboard sleeve over generic white inner sleeve.
