Here's a biggie for sale: an excellent copy of the Rhythm Devils "Play River Music / The Apocalypse Now Session", on WILSON AUDIO. The Rhythm Devils are Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann, and Phil Lesh from the GRATEFUL DEAD, along with Airto Moriera, Mike Hinton, Jim Loveless, Greg Errico, and Jordan Amaratha, and was Produced by Mickey hart with assistance from Phil Lesh. Dead all the way. Fabulous album, made even my good system sound amazing. Wonder what it would sound like on a Crosley lol. To quote the site Popsike, this album is "hideously rare", and per Discogs, "Wilson Audio is responsible for some of the best sounding recordings ever made". Tracks include "Compound", "Trenches", Street Gang", and "The Beast" on Side One, with "Steps", "Tar", "Lance", "Cave", "Napalm For Breakfast", and "Hell's Bells" on Side Two, and is from 1980. The cover, by STANLEY MOUSE, is in an easy VG+ condition with only a bit of edge wear, very minor corner bumping, SUPER colorful with a very legible spine, and NO splitting. It also comes with the ORIGINAL INSERT with a Mouse drawing on one side and album credits on the other, as well as a half page essay. This is NOT the Passport Records version, but the very limited very rare release from Wilson Audio. The vinyl is SO clean and SO shiny, way fabulous shape with one very small scuff on Side Two that causes no issues, skipping or popping. I did play this LP, especially the spot mentioned above, and HOLY COW, this is one of the best LPs sound-wise that I've ever heard. With the drummers from the Dead, you know it's very rhythmic and drum oriented. Incredible sound from an incredible album, we have only the one, they are very difficult to find on WA, so get this while we've got it. Perfect for a fire side drum circle for sure, and equally perfect for showing of your stereo systems ability. It TRULY rocks the speakers. All vinyl is cleaned with an enzyme spray then finished with a SpinClean Machine.
