THE RESIDENTS, MARK OF THE MOLE, ON RALPH RECORDS (RZ 8152) USA 1982, LIMITED EDITION OF 900 SIGNED BY THE RESIDENTS AND ON BROWN VINYL. Mark of the Mole is an album by The Residents, released in 1981. It was meant to be the first album in a trilogy detailing the conflicts between the Moles (a subterranean society whose gods offer salvation through hard labor) and the Chubs (a vapid, hedonistic culture).
After the Moles are forced to abandon their tunnels due to flooding, they enter the land of the Chubs seeking work. At first they are welcomed with open arms because the Chubs despise hard labor. Conflict arises when a Chub scientist invents a machine that can do the work instead, making the Moles obsolete and a drag on Chub society. What follows is a brief war. The short instrumental track "Resolution?" ends the album without giving a clear conclusion to the story.

This Collector's Edition of 900 copies was released in 1982 and came with silk-screened record covers and sleeves with a brown vinyl pressing of the album. The lyrics were printed on the inner sleeve and the back cover was signed in pencil by The Residents. The album cover alone is worth the price of admission into the underground home of the Moles, the look and feel of this silk screened cover is breath taking, now every thing down below is a kind of muddy brown color, and so is the vinyl, just a complete work of beauty from a world with neither!

The cover, vinyl and inner sleeve are all in very good+++ condition, having not been touched by Human hands, perhaps aliens too????

I ship USPS.   US -- $5.99 for the 1st item (Priority) insurance included, $1 for each additional item.

Now I'm trying to save on fuel, so international shipping will be done on the weekends, so I can run the records up to the post office and see them on their way!

I cannot guarantee any shipments to Italy, buy at your own risk, the mail system in Italy is just not the best. 

Canada is $6.99, rest of world $12.00, $2.00 for each additional item, I ship First Class International which takes about 10 to 14 days to most countries, insured items are shipped Global Priority and take between 3 to 6 days to most countries. Contact me if your sending money orders, international buyers Paypal only. Insured International orders add an extra $10.00 to package cost, I cannot be responsible for orders lost or damaged that are not insured, I have never had a package lost or damaged yet, 2 were about a month in delivery, and 1 came back to me with the wrong address, so it's really not that risky a deal, if you ask me.
